Abstract
Four weeks after implantation of oral endosteal metallic implants, acute inflammatory responses of the gingiva were observed. By eight weeks, the inflammation was transitional to chronic. Bony degeneration was noted eight months after implantation. No epithelial or fibrous connective tissue adherence or attachment to the blades was evident. Keywords
