Abstract
A new method is described for sequencing of peptide mixtures by Edman-degradation and field desorption mass spectrometry. The principle is realized by measurement of the mass numbers of molecular or quasi-molecular ions of peptides and their fragments degraded by the Edman method and calculation of the mass difference. Keywords
