Abstract
It is sometimes necessary, for both penal and civil proceedings, to establish the existence of a preceding pregnancy, but this task is especially difficult if the period between the moment of interruption of pregnancy and the time of diagnosis is protracted. Methods of establishing the differential diagnosis between menstrual, abortive and puerperal blood, and that originating from pathological metrorrhagia, would be of great value and some are described in this article. Keywords
