Abstract
Hadronic transitions of the charmonium P11 (=hc) state into Jψ are considered in the QCD multipole expansion. Using the decay rate of χcJJψ+γ and a quantum-mechanical sum rule, we estimate Γ(hc(1P)Jψπ0)>1.6 keV, which is close to the recent measurement by E760, Γ(hc(1P)Jψπ0)1 keV. Other transitions of hc are also considered in the same context.
