Abstract
A community reporting system for infectious diseases was established in the Atlanta area since May 1965. Its purpose was to provide current information on infectious diseases which may be of value to practitioners, epidemiologists, laboratory workers and teachers of infectious diseases and preventive medicine. Methods used for obtaining the reports and feeding back the compiled data on a weekly basis are outlined, and the results of the findings over a 5 month period are presented. Keywords
