Abstract
Methods for the analysis of benzidine (4,4′-diaminobiphenyl), or for benzidine and its acetylated metabolites, in urine are described. The procedure requires 2.0 ml of urine and involves extraction of the compound(s) followed by quantitation via liquid chromatography with eloctrochemical detection (LCEC). The assay for benzidine is linear from 25 ng/ml to 5 µg/ml, (r = 0.999), with a precision of ± 0.06% RSD at 250 ng/ml (n = 6) and ± 4.88% at 25 ng/ml (n = 5).This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
