Abstract
Although the total number of cases treated is small[long dash]11 head and neck malignancies and 21 bone and soft tissue sarcomata[long dash]the impression is that an enhanced tumor effect is being achieved. The price being paid for this is the complication of the intra-arterial method[long dash]however, with increasing experience markedly fewer effects arise. No compromise is now being made as far as the radiation dose is concerned. It thus seems reasonable to anticipate that the chemotherapeutic effect will at least be additive to the radiotherapy. In view of these encouraging results it is intended to continue with this combined treatment method in the selected case. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
