Abstract
Results on spin dynamics in CsNi with applied magnetic fields are obtained through a detailed study of the shape of a sharp near-infrared absorption line. In a rather extended field and temperature range, a universal curve connects the linewidth to the temperature when is used as an energy unit. The relevance of the reduced variable to the existence of solitons is discussed.
