Abstract
We obtain the exact expression for the holonomy transformation for a circle that corresponds to a nonstatic and to the most general static, cylindrically symmetric metric. A general formula for the angular deficit is obtained in both cases. A discussion about the Aharanov-Bohm effect in the static case is given. Keywords
