Abstract
A recording system and computer can be used for the complete spectrochemical analysis of photographed spectra. Transmission values, taken at equal intervals of travel along the spectrum are transferred to magnetic tape with high precision, high speed, and in a form suitable for computer processing. This processing may include wavelength determination, line identification, and plate calibration. Keywords
