Abstract
An interface-displacement model for critical wetting in three dimensions with short-range forces is studied using Monte Carlo methods. The critical behavior is found to be consistent with linear functional renormalization-group treatments of the problem. It is also shown that the asymptotic critical regime is wide enough to be accessible to simulations of critical wetting in the three-dimensional Ising model. Keywords
