Abstract
Provided the alcohol blood mixture was constantly controlled with litmus or bromthymol blue during evaporation and never allowed to become alkaline, the author was able to get an acetylcholine content in bovine blood which approximated that of Kapfhammer and Bischoff. Up to 20% more oxalic acid than they recommended had been found insufficient to neutralize the blood alkalies, which might account for the divergent results variously reported. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
