Abstract
Members of health care teams are often unclear about the professional roles of their colleagues. Such confusion about professional roles is also compounded occasionally by insufficient clarity about colleagues' personal, informal, and formal roles. In this article, the author discusses the confusion of role expectations and describes a system to train members of health care teams in role clarification.Keywords
