Abstract
Complex domain structures in the lithium niobate have been investigated by means of the visualization method using pyroelectrooptical effect. Crystallooptical analysis of the visualization mechanism basing on Jones matrix method and double-layer electrooptical model of anomalous W-layer in the domain wall vicinity allows rightly interpret the observed domain images and points to the possibilities of W-layer properties experimental determination.Keywords
