Abstract
New experimental data are presented which show a periodic variation of the resistance of two-dimensional arrays of superconductor-normal-metal-superconductor Josephson weak links with the magnetic flux per cell in units of the flux quantum, including a secondary minimum at the half-quantum points. Also presented is a simple model which accounts for the existence, shape, and magnitude of this periodic variation in terms of vortex core energies. Keywords
