Abstract
Cultures of P. crysosporium were compared with isolates from the type specimens of S. pruinosum and S. pulverulentum. Both morphological and physiological characters were observed. Differences in conidia and hyphal characters were sufficient to consider S. pruinosum and P. chrysosporium distinct. S. pulverulentum was the anamorph of P. chrysoporium on the basis of the teleomorph formed in culture. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
