Abstract
The seeds of 13 lines of Celosia referable to four species were analysed for protein, fat and fatty acid composition. The protein contents varied from 101 to 170 g kg−1 and fat contents from 56 to 109 g kg−1. The fatty acid composition was of the simple palmitic‐oleic‐linoleic type.Keywords
