Abstract
Synopsis: The chemical variability of some Moine metasedimentary rocks in Inverness-shire is examined, in an area near Lochailort where one pelitic band crops out in two different metamorphic zones. It is found that the high and low grade pelites have a similar composition and that possible within-outcrop variability is obscured by a variance due to the methods of analysis. Keywords
