Abstract
Male rats were allowed to copulate with receptive females until they had achieved 2 ejaculations. They were then divided in 2 groups, 1 group treated daily during 4 days with oxytocin, 1 IU and the other with saline. The frequency, weight and sperm content of sponteneous ejaculates were reduced after copulation. Oxytocin could partially offset the reductions in these variables, especially with regard to the number of sperm in the ejaculates. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
