Abstract
Over the last two decades there have been several proposals for empirical relationships for computing the position of this sun. With the rapid development of computer technology, especially micro computers, such formulae are likely to become more widely used. This paper attempts a comparison between several of the readily available expressions, with the view to studying the differences and accuracy of the formulae. Keywords
