Abstract
This research examines the elderly's awareness of "in-home" versus "aging network" services. Awareness levels are found to be considerably higher for the latter. Multiple-regression analysis reveal that age, education and self-assessed health are significantly related to awareness of both services. In-home service awareness is also related to sex, marital status, number of sick days, and whether or not an individual lives alone. Contact with informal networks is not related to service awareness.
