Abstract
A strain of C. purpurea has been isolated which will produce L‐tryptophan from indole in submerged culture.The L‐tryptophan produced is extracellular and in a free form.Levels of up to 1·5 mg/ml of L‐tryptophan have been obtained.This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
