Abstract

Differential cross sections have been measured for the

{}^{30}{Si} (p, α) {}^{27}{Al}

reaction at an incident energy of 40.75 MeV. The experimental (

p, α

) relative cross sections are well reproduced by distorted wave direct pickup calculations with a triton cluster form factor and current shell model wave functions.
