Abstract
A new iron(III)–carbonato monomeric complex of ortho-phenylenebis(oxamato) (opba) 1 is synthesized, and spectroscopically and structurally characterized; it is a moderately efficient non-heme catalyst for the aerobic epoxidation of alkenes with co-oxidation of pivalaldehyde. Keywords
