Abstract
The respiratory effects of 1-cis-2-(a-dimethylamino-m-hydroxybenzyl) cyclohexanol hydrochloride (WY-15,705, a newly developed analgesic and narcotic antagonist) were compared to those of pentazocine when given i.m. to man. WY-15,705 was 2.8 .times. as potent in terms of its respiratory depressant effects.
