Abstract

NADH-dependent and ferredoxin-dependent glutamate synthases from developing pea cotyledons were separated by gel filtration on a Sephadex G-200 column. The substrate requirements, molecular weights and effect of some inhibitors on both glutamate synthase enzymes were investigated.
