Abstract
We have derived simple analytic expressions for the functional derivative with respect to the electron-phonon spectral density of the normalized specific-heat jump at the critical temperature. Results are also given for the variation with respect to the paramagnon spectral density and for the functional derivatives just below the critical temperature. Finally, results of the generalization of this work to an anisotropic superconductor are also presented. Keywords
