Abstract
Energy distributions of secondary electrons emitted in the ionization of argon by fast electrons have been measured. Their spectra and single and double differential cross sections were obtained for electron impact energies ranging from 1 to 10 keV, and electrons ejected with energies up to 300 eV. Where possible, the results are compared with existing experimental data and with theoretical calculations. Keywords
