A new polymorph of 4,4′-(butadiyne-1,4-diyl)-bis-(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-hydroxypiperidin-1-oxyl)

Abstract
A new polymorph of the title diradical has been characterized by X-ray diffraction, vibrational spectroscopy, and magnetic susceptibility; its radiation induced polymerization has not been achieved, but thermal treatment turns the crystals black and explosive decomposition occurs at ∼ 140°C.
