Abstract
Five novel polyacetylenes (5-9) were isolated from two different populations of the sponge Petrosia ficiformis collected in the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Their structures were established by extensive NMR analysis and by comparison with known petroformynes.Keywords
