Abstract
The magnitude of the photoinduced membrane potential across the poly(vinyl chloride)/spirobenzopyran/nonactin composite membrane depends considerably on the concentration of ammonium ion in the aqueous solution. The results are explained in terms of the charge density on the membrane surface. Keywords
