Perspective on the Provision of Social Services in Senior Citizen Centers

Abstract
Multi-purpose Senior Citizen Centers ibat serve large numbers of aged are being overlooked as agencies for the provision-of social services to the elderly. Information and referral, The usual practice, are without follow-up, haphazard. It is the direct provision of social services such as housing, health, financial assistance, and employment that is called for in meeting the needs of the aged member. A re-examination of current practices should result in a coordinated effort to affect change in Center functions and goals.
