Abstract
Stromateoids are fishes of the open ocean commonly found in association with gelatinous zooplankton (Mansueti, 1963; Haedrich, 1957). One genus, Tetragonurus, has been found inside the branchial chambers of salps (Emery, 1882; LoBianco, 1909) and cloacal chambers of pyrosomes (LoBianco, 1909; Fitch, 1949, 1951).This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
