Abstract
We numerically solve the equations of motion derived from an infrared effective theory of QCD on the basis of abelian monopole condensation. A static potential between quark and antiquark souces is derived. QCD is similar to the type-I (dual) superconductor or near the border between both types, depending on the value of the gluon condensate. We predict the existence of axial-vector and scalar mesons composed of gluons. The former has a mass (0.9 ∼ 2.4 GeV), whereas the latter a mass (0.5 ∼ 3.5 GeV).Keywords
