Abstract
A 75 yr old man is presented with a rare mixed adenocarcinoma and carcinoid tumor contained in a tubulovillous adenoma. Diagnosis is confirmed from a polyp obtained at endoscopic biopsy and histopathological examination. Surgery is not recommended in this case because the patient''s age prohibits extensive abdominopenineal resection with subsequent colostomy. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
