Abstract
Larvae of the oleuthreutid moth Bactra verutana Zeller feed on the leaves and bore into the stems and crown of Cyperus papyrus, a popular landscaping plant in southern California. Effective control on plants grown in 6-in. (1-gal) cans was obtained with a drenching spray of dimethoate (0.5 lb dimethoate/100 gal) and ¼ teaspoonful of 5% phorate granules per can. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
