Fourteen genera of helminths comprising about 16 species recovered from raccoons were as follows: (Trematoda) Apophallus venustus; Euryhelmis squamula; Eurytrema procyonis: Fibricola texensis; Fibricola sp.; Pharyngostomoides procyonis; (Nematoda) Arthrocephalus lotoris; Ascaris columnaris; Crenosoma (?) globlei; Gnathostoma spinigerum; G. procyonis; Molineus barbatus; Physoloptera rara; (Acanthocephala) Macracanthorhynchus ingens; (Cestode) Mesocetoides lineatus; Oorchoristica procyonis. The raccoon is considered as a new host for G. spinigerum. Morphological variation with the genus Euryhelmis is discussed. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
