Abstract
The strong decays of , , and mesons are calculated using (a) Ward identities derived from equaltime commutation relations of chiral , (b) the notion of a partially conserved strangeness-changing axial-vector current, (c) dominance of spectral functions by gauge mesons, and (d) maximum smoothness of proper vertex functions. This method was originally introduced by Weinberg and Schnitzer for and applied to and decays. We describe the system by the current-mixing model. The resonance contribution to the -decay Dalitz plot is obtained.
