Abstract
Four monoclonal antibodies directed against Bacteroides gingivalis were established by hybridoma technology. Their reactivity against B. gingivalis, Bacteroides intermedius, and Bacteroides melaninogenicus was detected by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Three monoclonal antibodies specifically reacted with B. gingivalis. One recognized antigens that were cross-reactive between B. gingivalis and B. intermedius. These monoclonal antibodies provide new tools for antigenic analysis of B. gingivalis. Keywords
