Abstract
A cultural study of the complete life-cycle of H. capsulatum obtained from a 3-monihs-old infant was made. The saprophytic mold-like phase of the fungus was converted to the parasitic yeast-like phase on blood agar at 37[degree] C directly without animal inoculation. This fungus belongs in the Moniliaceae, closely related to Sepedonium. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
