Abstract
Fifty one acromegalics and 1950 of their relatives were examined. There is no familial occurrence nor hereditary character to the disease. Most acromegalics have altered personalities, but only in cases with severe complications do (organic?) psychoses arise. The changes are chiefly of mood and motivation, and resemble those seen in patients with other endocrine or brain-stem diseases. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
