Abstract
The foraminiferal fauna of a selected portion of the Lagoon of Venice (Italy) was used to determine biotopes. Their geographic extent subdivides the Lagoon into areas of similar hydrological conditions. All 18 spp. are listed and taxonomic notes on 6 spp. are incluced. Two new (Buccella pustulosa and Cribrononion lagunensis ) are described. Four species (Haplophragmoides canariensis, Quinqueloculina poeyana, Spiroloculina lucida and Fissurina lucida) are recorded for the 1st time in the Lagoon. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
