Abstract
Given two arbitrary views of a scene under centralprojection, if the motion of points on a parametricsurface is compensated, the residual parallax displacementfield on the reference image is an epipolar field. Ifthe surface aligned is a plane, the parallax magnitudeat an image point is directly proportional to the heightof the point from the plane and inversely proportionalto its depth from the camera. We exploit the abovetheorem to infer 3D height information from obliqueaerial 2D...Keywords
