Abstract
This paper describes a clinical research project2 beginning its third year of operation at the Fort Logan Crisis Unit which is designed to test the hypothesis that primary preventive intervention around the specific crisis of sudden and accidental death can actually decrease the risk of psychiatric illness, medical illness, and social disturbance experienced by families exposed to the crisis. Keywords
