150mW quasi-cw fundamental-mode operation from modified twin-channel laser

Abstract

The twin-channel laser structure has been modified to allow lasing in two well defined, coupled spots. Fundamental-mode lasing in a stable, narrow beam is then achieved to 150mW under 50% duty-cycle operation.
