Abstract
In incestuous families, a symbiotic relationship is often found between the mother and the daughter. The authors discuss the nature of this symbiotic relationship and provide case examples drawn from an incest treatment group. The treatment needs of mothers are discussed in light of their childhood deprivations. Keywords
