Abstract
A simple novel construction of the bicyclo[3.3.0]octane ring system is described by domino [3+2] cycloaddition of allyltriisopropylsilane and 3-butyn-2-one. This process generates four carbon-carbon bonds in a one-pot reaction (82% overall yield).Keywords
