Quantum noise reduction in photodetection processes

Abstract
We propose a photodetection scheme, based on an interference between emission and absorption processes. Such a scheme, under specific circumstances, leads to sub-Poissonian statistics of the photocurrent and a reduction of quantum noise.Keywords
