Experimental Investigation of Microcirculation in Bone Marrow

Abstract
On the basis of earlier studies in bone marrow circulation, new methods for direct microscopic observation in vivo of bone marrow vessels and cells are described. Observations on the fibular marrow of the rabbit using these methods concerning vascular pattern, vessel caliber, flow velocity, effect of nicotinic acid, innervation, suspension stability of blood, and relation between bone and marrow circulation are described and discussed.
