Finite element design of diamond anvils

Abstract
We have performed finite element analyses of beveled diamond anvils. Our analyses show that double beveling can improve the performance of the diamond anvil cell and maintain the stability of the sample, which is often sacrificed when large angle single bevel diamonds are used.Keywords
